Choices that we make
Ascertain ones direction
Many paths unfold in front of us
Which one do we opt to take
Many moons ago
Your guidance counselled me
To maintain patience + wait
For what was to come
That opportunity arrived with aplomb
We were like deer in headlights
Unwilling to strike
Expecting the trivialities of fate
Developing such intense emotions
Where our greatest desire
Naked + trembling
Twin souls knowing
The most intense fire
Is the deepest love that we inspire
United where we two
Have intertwined
And become destinys One
