Miscommunication unravels
Where it appears
We speak with forked tongues
It's peace I seek

More people enthralled
Opposing and wanting to create
A problem
Not open to discussion
It's peace I seek

Talks of rocket launching
Evidence of hate
Based on skin colour, beliefs
Contentiousness elevated
Pointing the finger of blame
It's peace I seek

Division amongst us
Spreading much hate of late
Pounching without listening
Picking a word out of context
To add fuel to an already blazing fire

Shaking my head
It's peace I seek
Peace
