The first words I did read
Scrawled across my phone

Shhh the mystery unfolded
The secret has to be safe
The love I have to share
Is already beholden

Uhhhhm unknown how to continue
On this thread of thought
When all along
It’s control that’s been sought

Noooo it’s the wrong direction
Playfully unearthing
Misappropriation of lingering affections
Your finger in the bowl
Has been caught
