The greenery lushly overgrown
From the onset of rain
Heralding the quickened growth
Of summers heat
Sweet animals playfully sharing
Their excitement with joyful love

Even the grumpiest of humans
Can absorb this unconditional love
Love that raises the vibrations
Where smiles are contagious
Across the streets
Even for those
Who dartingly avoid eye contact
Slight crinkle At the corner of the eye
As an unwilling grin escapes
Their stoic face

I count my blessings daily
Filled with many prayers nightly
I love my beautiful country Canada

Enmeshed with various surprises
