Me watching you

Fluttering your wings
Flying closer to better observe
Stoically inert
Allowing your beauty
To circumvent and serve

Every single being has a purpose
Taking the deciding factor
To travel here
I’m certain is our choice

 I must admit
I wonder why
Often, wonder why

Particularly
When obstacles arise
Through times of trouble
Or out of the blue
A pleasant surprise

Why did I choose this path?
Observing the hummingbird
Most likely
Trying to ascertain
Our connection

Observing it beauty in flight
