Emotions felt like an avalanche
That tumbles and collides
A huge wave that crashes
And tears can’t be stopped
The loss of a loved one can do that
But when that multiplies to many
It’s hard to take the breath
It’s hard to justify
It’s hard to realize and believe
That we are souls inhabiting this body
So many tears and a jolt of laughter
Remembering the memories we made
Precious moments that no camera can recall
The emotions we shared
They were many
So many that I cherish them
