Crossed wires sent mixed signals to those awaiting news
Angst ridden feelings heightened as the darkness of the night fell
Unbeknownst to everyone involved, even the message centre was askew
Unwarranted silence created confusion
A greater part of illusions
Only a few were unaffected
Those with wisdom only a few perceive
Await the lighting of the brand new day
To wash away the tension and the tears that affected the ghostly fears
