Crumbling right before our eyes
Each fragment seemingly smaller than the last
Disintegration is the by product of hate
Tearing apart everything we’ve come together to build
Thousands of years
Watching it unravel like a broken thread in a sweater
Tenuously fraying at its foundation
Unable to stop the destruction
Where the intent is to segregate

Fatiguing watching it hatefully destroyed
Our planet
Our mindset
Our choice
Do better
