Torturing yourself for your desired response in kind
Believed truth in twined in the overthinking beckoned
Researching from credible and not so credible literature
Needing to discover self inflicted eurekas as the answers
Swirling thoughts clashing with prideful thoughts
Based feelings requiring validation
Inquiring justification sought by self inflicted pain
Unbeknownst which path this will lead
On this journey less travelled
Straying from the supposed norm that makes no sense
Standing alone as working tirelessly to carve a varied path in strain
The need to be right drilled into the swamped thoughts
Of the multitude of characters played in a well thought out game
Feeling like a fish out of water this time
Not understanding why grasping for answers
Realizing deep at soul level it has to come from
Guidance and faith
Resolute to feeling calm and centered
Regardless of the out sourced clamouring of restless thoughts
