Years ago when just a teen
Struggling and coping with changes
Desiring only one set of eyes
To see me and erect my self esteem
Years later, life’s copious turns
Turning on a kitty corner
Serendipity motioned and churned
Unbelievably it ignited
Passions fire deep down I’m delighted
Playing catch up for we lost the time
Feelings emerged and played by Cupid’s arrow
Divine timing inserted your impression
You stole my heart, lovers crime
Ever since that fateful night
Encapsulated in your love
As you hold me tight
As we’ve become each other’s obsession
Only different
Based in love
That’s it, I’m done with my confession

Words fare thee well
Combined deep feels of those days gone by
When we first spoke, it’s as though I was under a spell
Words of love was so easy to share
Vulnerable to lay ones soul naked and bare
Was the first mistake taken down the path of hades
The wicked hell
Words were veiled, half truths
Spoken without a care
Rubbing my eyes for clarity
In hopes that what I heard
Witnessing fog less with my eyes
Gutted by lack of credibility
Lack of conviction
I’m forced to listen to the crickets
Than make any sense of this benediction
For my last words will be good bye
Will not turn to look behind me
Strange design no time to cry
Hollow has been this shipping of late
You left the door open to the gate
Grey skies turned to blue again
The storm has passed
I crave the cathartic cleanse of the rain
From this torturous pain
In my head I’ve wished you well, again and again
Time for me to be selfish
Refuse you cheers and support
Take my wings to fly
Stop the forthcoming lies
Follow my deep dark wish
Find love not in another
For no other can reciprocate
The love I crave and need so deeply
From me to me

The pain is gone

I was never good at chess

I feel trapped...
Trapped by your charms
Trapped by your words
Trapped by your lack of actions
Trapped at your nebulous indecision

I feel trapped by my need to feel
I feel trapped by my need to please
I feel trapped by this world
Trapped and isolated

Did it make a difference?
Reaching out to Corporate America in the hopes of being heard
We’re you?
Did you make a dent?
We’re you able t o communicate your thoughts
Bumbled and dishevelled into some form of organized pattern
Do you feel out of place
Staring into the face where confusion has replaced
Knowingness
Confusion has caused disparities and massive illusions
For the lies have been repeated so often that they seem like truths
Governments across the world collective bargaining with no rules
But we sheeple need to fall in line
Does this take you back to another time
Crack open a history book

Yes I said crack open a book, pages yellowed with age
Marked and underlined to go back and revisit.

Wars always bring home dead. It’s inevitable.
When one head of state calls another a murderer is this where
Pointing a finger and three point back applies.

We have have blood on our hands.
Every country.
Natives of any land has dealt with hostility and death of their people
When a country is discovered.
Wait, discovered.

The planet earth…not much to discover
Why Elon Musk and Bezos and multiple billionaires co exist to be wealthier
During lockdowns.
Whilst small businesses are shut down
People clamouring for their measly government check
And hand outs
While the rich claim to have landed on Mars
Has no one studied …actually studied anything.
I’m in awe that cell phone reception in the same city let alone country
Is crackled and unclear.

And billions of miles away “WE” can hear the wind blow in Mars

Yeah right.

Here’s an idea.
Take better care of our own backyard.
Our land and oceans.
And in the mix be kinder to all living beings.
Yeah. Not quite a poem.
At least I feel I’m being heard.

Hello one and all
What are the words that come to mind
If they are nothing but kind
I Do not need to know
From afar judgement are made
It’s a natural progression of human proclivity
Judging appearance and then the words
Staring at your actions
Here’s the think
Shaking the dust off
We’ve gone further away from what matters
Compassion and empathy is scoffed at
Pointing fingers and anger is the rage
I desire another pair of rose tinted glasses
You pair would do
Did you see what I did
Or now that mine are shattered
It’s all just grey and blue?

Forests full bloom and green
Behold what your eyes can see
Nature in its glory

Where I recognized
The shivers of excitement
Going up my spine
In the knowing of you
