Anticipating
That a sweet soul
Needs to toughen up
Trust needs time
When one starts a new job
Three months maximum
Before cultivating
The benefits
Then wanting to believe
Makes a fool
Out of me
Expectations of kindness

Simple

Changes are here now
Wish it were simpler
I like being kind
Need to be kinder to me
