Over the phone it was distinct
In your need to please me
So many days have gone by
I've been breathing shallow
An echo has been playing in my brain
I'm empty inside
Hollow
Try so hard not to have expectations
Yet in one hand
Hopes + dreams that you'll
Treat me with respect + integrity as I have
Promises made
I know how to honour them
Sadness prevails to see
It never meant the same to you
Basic fact
Definition of friendships
Meanings differ from mine
