The problem occurs when people are constantly trying to assign superiority to their particular player.
Who cares who's the best player? You enjoy some players more than others.
It's like some of those people think that somehow they're successful by siding with a successful person.
It's really sickening and childish.
I'm glad we can discuss issues like adults here.
it is all about these Federer camps vs nadal camps at 2 of the biggest boards: MTF and tennis warehouse.
each camp has an agenda obviously.
what irritates me is that sometimes the mods and admin get involved as I have seen so often at MTF. they are more biased than the posters at times.
for some insane reason they have to have somebody they can call the greatest of all time when it is so clear that there is no way in hell to compare across distant eras in an objective way.
from my own observations, Nadal gets trashed and ridiculed the most.
press and media even made remarks about this very fact once when they visited/checked MTF. I hear now things are even worse there.
people, on the average, tend to be fairly respectful about Federer as they should. he is the man with 17 majors and 5 years at the top of the game.
he has done a lot for the sport. he raised the bar and changed the game. his numbers speak for themselves.
Yep.
The big tennis boards have an agenda for sure.
The confrontations are ridiculous.
The whole purpose is to get rid of the Nadal fans.
But, it helps with your ability to communicate and deal with contentious people.
