Andy Cohen Discusses Kenya, Nene and More

So a moderated comment came in from “bagladey” saying that Kenya was referring to Andy as ‘Mandy’ on Twitter and that he was pissed about it. So I had to check into this. Unfortunately it is true that Kenya was doing that. Which I find rather appalling and juvenile and beneath her. On the other hand, Andy is shady with her ALL THE TIME.  Which he admits so I don’t think he was really that pissed about it.  And Kenya is all locked in for season 8 so no worries there.

The discussion about this happened on a recent Ask Andy. It’s kind of interesting so I thought I’d transcribe it here.
Regarding Kenya calling him Mandy on Twitter…
“Did Kenya call me ‘Mandy’ on Twitter? Oh well, I mean …on the one hand it’s offensive but on the other hand it is MAN-dy… So yeah, I don’t know how I feel about it. It’s a little shady. But I am VERY shady to her so, I guess, I mean I don’t love it. Maybe I’ll call her like ‘Ken-doll.’ How would she like that? If I called her a man?”

Regarding Nene not paying up to the Detroit Public Schools Foundation…

“I was like, it’s was your idea!  When she stands with a position, she doesn’t want to hear anyone else’s idea and she can’t … but  we had a little fight the next day. She said that her friends said that I was really shady to her on the show. And I said, Well that’s funny because everyone on Twitter says that you were nasty to me on the show. So we went back and forth about that. We settled it like we always do, just kind of by laughing. I mean, I was like, You need new friends! And she was like, Don’t listen to people on Twitter! I go, ‘You need new friends! Your friends suck!”
Do you think it was uncouth for Kenya to post her donation check on Twitter?

“No, she did it because no one believes a word she says. So that is why she did it. I mean it was publicity but it was about proving that she did it.”
Do you agree with Nene that there are too many people not dating on Atlanta housewives?

“I think it is always good to see ladies dating on the show. I mean look at New York housewives they are all dating and screwing everybody! The ratings for the Atlanta housewives were great this season, so I think the women not dating …it didn’t harm the show.”
Thomas Ravenel is blaming Andy for his failed political campaign. WTF?

“He blames me. He says I pressured him to run for office. But when I came to WWHL I was told he had an announcement to make. That he was going to announce his candidacy.  But he somehow thought that I was making him announce his candidacy ??! I had no idea …by the way he could have said he was running for office on WWHL and then not run for office. I mean, this isn’t Meet the Press!  He and I have to talk about it at the reunion.”

Okay, I let Ask Andy play in the background while working on this post and he was asked about Brandi getting fired from RHOBH. He said that decisions are made well after the season ends. AND THERE IS A CONVERSATION THEY NEED TO HAVE!  This, couple with her not going to Upfronts  makes me thinks Brandi might be getting  the ax! Our prayers are going to be answered!
