Hey Bobbi,

I'm looking for the articles that said that Andy couldn't stand Nene. I've seen it more than once, but unfortunately, I usually file my articles under its original title which doesn't have anything to do with the content. I need to fix this, but while I was looking for it, I found the article about Nene's talk show.

Nene Leakes is NOT a Happy Camper

11-11-11 is not a great day for Nene Leakes. First of all, Kim Zolciak got married to Kroy Biermann this morning and I am quite sure she was not invited to the festivities. That wouldn’t really bother Nene so much but this wedding is being filmed for Kim’s as yet unnamed spinoff show on Bravo.  The show will follow the life of Kim as she has a baby, gets married and learns how to juggle three kids and a new husband while living in an 11.000 sq ft house. Bravo is following the format they used on Bethenny Getting Married for the new show.

 Even worse for Nene, Kandi Buruss has recently told Essence that her spinoff is becoming a reality as well.  Kandi told Essence in a November 9th interview “Well, the first episode is a special and they are going to green-light the series depending on the ratings. I’m excited, reality TV is fun and everything, but it’s something I do on the side. ‘The Kandi Factory’ is actually going to show people what I do for a living: music. It’s similar to what I did for Kim, where I take somebody people didn’t really consider to be an “artist” and help them have a real song.”

I bet that really burns Nene’s biscuit because it has become abundantly clear that she has no chance of a Bravo spinoff at this point.  When Bravo began talks with Nene she was supposed to be divorcing Gregg Leakes, but that never happened. Gregg is still out and about with Nene all over the place as recently as last Sunday at the premier party hosted by Cynthia Bailey Thomas and her husband Peter at their new venture, Bar One. So any show they tossed around about the hilarity of Nene dating is out the window.

Nene seemed to know this in a TVguide interview published on November 5th where she basically says she didn’t want her own spin-off anyway. As if any of us believe that.

There are unconfirmed reports that Kim is getting her own spin-off. Do you want your own show? Is that something you’d be interested in?

Leakes: I definitely some day want to do a show. I don’t know if I want to do it by myself, and I don’t know if I want to continue to do reality. I love talk shows and hosting. I would want to do something like that. I’m not sure I would want to be a reality star continuously.

Tell us why you think you should have the opportunity to meet Nene? Have you ever read anything funnier in your life?  So it looks like Nene is going shoot a few mock shows and shop them around. She has been tweeting about “shooting for the Style Network” lately so perhaps that is her plan. It seems clear Bravo isn’t going to make an offer.

UPDATE: The Talk Show didn’t sell, but now Nene is on Glee and auditioning for more traditional acting roles. So far, she’s doing quite well in that arena.
