 He's definitely banking on whatever he threatened  Phaedra to " have for him when he gets out."   He knows he will most like never have the chance to ever attain those things again.

If however, he senses or someone informs him that Phaedra is not keeping her word-spending through what's left or will lose everything- he won't hesitate to give her up. He hates her remember?  Phaedra is just his safe deposit box for now.

You bet those death threats are coming from Phaedra/associates who probably have just as much to lose as she. They are probably going to go down if she does.  I don't doubt it for a second.
I'm sure Phaedra is not the only nervous one right now. This is sooo good.

 You're right. Phaedra thought she was smarter than EVERYONE. She underestimated AS- just like she underestimated most of the viewing audience. She is now kicking herself, I bet for not maintaining that relationship. SHE was the dummy. The ignoramus.

My thoughts were that Porsha had to know Phaedra would be receptive to it to even bring it up.
For that reason, I feel Phaedra gave her the idea- she ran a **** ring based on her tweets with JV, remember? 
I don't believe the men are from the Internet either.  There are a lot of VERY wealthy Africans in ATL.   Heck, I wouldn't doubt Phaedra made some money off of it.  It's why she was so comfy calling Porsha a THOT.

I'm just not sure Phaedra needed anyone to hip her to all the angles and available means of selling your body in the ATL.  I believe she holds the monopoly on that info. She is just that dirty. 
I do believe though that Phaedra's man was from the same group of men.  Why else would Porsha become so protective of Phaedra seemingly, just out of the blue- even turning on Kandi who was the ONLY one who had her back after her divorce.  Porsha was waay too invested. They had something in common.

& Check this. I believe Kandi knew about the **** which is why Porsha  was so vocal and defensive and didn't like that Kandi stayed at the table when they all got up to leave after Cynthia called Phaedra out.
She was afraid Kandi would tell the real story.

It's also why when Andy asked at the reunion what she thought about White Chocolate - Kandi stated that she walked away when Apollo brought the evidence to her home.
I believe Its because she already knew! 

 I don't believe she would have simply walked away from the story initially out of sheer loyalty to Phaedra.  Everyone stays for those kinds of details if nothing more than to know what to tell your friend about what is being said.
She walked out of the room because she already knew the story and didn't want to give herself away. 

WHICH is why she headed right over to Phaedra's office to question why she was trusting Nene and ......

as much as she was on Apollos side previously and even now being so angry at Phaedra for turning on her knowing she (herself) hadn't spilled the secret- she STILL couldn't speak on the affair at the reunion and was still assuring Phaedra her secrets were safe.  Her dirt is intermingled in there somewhere.

Why all of a sudden was Kandi now at the reunion, waving her hand at the notion of believing Apollo saying "if she did do something I wouldn't have blamed her" when previously she was down Phaedra's throat about not supporting him?

Kenya and Claudia - especially Kenya -  needs to get off of this lowlife,  criminal infested  show.  ASAP.

So true, that Apollo is protecting himself and the hidden assets that they have squirreled away. But, like you said, Phaedra is all about façade and she will refuse to voluntarily lower her standard of living. She will maintain the front, at all costs. I agree that Phaedra will not have that house and her legal profession has been threatened for a while, starting with her sudden change of careers. She knew she needed something to fall back on, that was no coincidence. LOL, @ her other careers being bogus. I couldn’t agree more; and the old book peddling at churches? Come to think of it, that too is a ruse. Phaedra’s doing these book tours to give the appearance of making money. In reality she’s existing on those ill-gotten gains. But she can’t spend without the appearance of earned income, can she? This conflicts with her needing money and at the same time taking eight women to Paris. Lies everywhere you turn.

You already know someone is keeping him informed on the outside—probably Peter. This trip may be her downfall, because that’s an expensive junket and Apollo isn’t going to take kindly to her spending that money so frivolously. Such an ostentatious display of wealth does not bode well for Phaedra in Apollo’s eyes. She had better tread lightly. 
Oh yeah, there’s definitely a legitimate reason for those death threats. Those people have a lot to lose if they get implicated. But, they are all going to go down and people will be singing like canaries. No telling how many people are shaking in their boots right now, this surpasses anything that we could’ve imagined.

Phaedra’s pride wouldn’t allow her to stoop to the level of an Angela Stanton. She thought she was smarter and Angela would be an easy smart. But, she picked the wrong person because while Phaedra may be book smart, she is not street smart…Angela is. This is why no one owns AS, whereas everyone has a piece of Phaedra…Jessica, Angela, Apollo, Nene, Kandi, and even Porsha. O what a tangled web. That’s what I mean about not being street smart. You never turn on someone who has the goods on you and you have to assume that they have receipts of some kind. Dropping Angela may be the dumbest move she ever made.

It’s hard to say about the origins of the African Princes, it could be either, or, or and. Diane is no slouch in sex peddling business. Remember she has no discernible job and it’s obvious she has gold-digger tendencies. I read that there is an online site and Porsha and Lauren go overseas to service men at Diane’s behest. Of course Phaedra would be interested, isn’t that what she’s about anyway? **** and flesh peddling, something she also engages in.

Right again. Porsha’s newfound alliance with Phaedra speaks volumes. They barely had more than a speaking relationship last year. Something had to bind them, I think this is it. Porsha could easily discard Kandi with the promise of money, remember she had a limited contract herself, a half an hour show on Dish Nation, and that fledgling hair business. Not near enough to live in the manner that she desires.

Yep, Kandi definitely knew about the ****. Good eye at remembering that scene at the table. Porsha was definitely upset that Kandi didn’t get up immediately. She was afraid that Kandi might reveal something, no matter how small to the group. 

Oh yeah, Kandi was intentionally vague regarding Whyte Chocolate. She was well acquainted with what went down, but tried to pass it off as dismissive. Kandi loves being in the know, there’s no way she wouldn’t listen to a juicy rumor. I don’t believe that for a minute. She felt guilty and probably couldn’t trust herself not to say anything. 
Kandi did change her position. I had forgotten about that little switcheroo.

I hope Kenya and Claudia get away too. I think it will happen. I think both will move on to bigger and better things, because their hearts are in the place.

Exactly. Remember Apollo's restitution was 14 million before they knocked it down to 1.9 mil.
Apollo didn't spend 14 mil in the strip club or on that house. They have something left for sure.

Apollo warned Phaedra and gave orders about his wishes more than once before he went to prison.
I remember distinctly in one scene where he told Phaedra:

I'm NOT coming home to no car, I'm NOT coming home to live in an apartment! I'm coming back to my home!  He went on to name other things.
Then in that last scene before prison he was telling her not to remove his things from their home. What person do you know going anywhere  for 8 years much less prison who is able to call shots like that?
Apollo definitely laid down the law before he left for prison and that was on camera. I can only imagine what he said off camera.

I agree that she is pretending to be working - she is living on Apollos money and at the rate she's  going she can go through that money before he gets out.
I'm sure he won't be liking her traipsing all over Europe with 8 women leaving the kids as usual.
Especially,  being locked up with no freedom himself.
& You don't do Paris and Italy on a budget that's for sure.
 
Hey, I always assumed when you mentioned a Diane - that you were speaking of Nene's best friend.

You're right. If this was a "clean" situation Apollo wouldn't be calling any shots. If anything, he would be guilt ridden for bringing shame to their marriage. But his words sounds more like a partnership that two crooks enter into rather than a marital union. Just like crooks who say, "You'd better have my share."

Speaking of what he said on TV, he also said, "I built this house and everything in it." Remember that? I thought he was talking about the ill gotten gain then. Remember, when we first met Phaedra she had a nice house, but it was much smaller. So in a way she's correct. She doesn't have to worry about money, but it isn't from her "jobs."

This leads me to believe that the good "pastor" is well aware of this tainted money. That's why she became so vocal on Season 7. How come this is the only season she's seen fit to be such an integral part of Phaedra's storyline? And of course, the good mother is traipsing across Europe with her dastardly daughter.

Yes, I was talking about Porsha's mother. I forgot or didn't know that Nene had a friend named Diane. In the future I will refer to Porsha's mom as Pizza Diane, because she's POS too.

You're right. He's telling her exactly what he expects when he returns.
He wouldn't be able to do that if Phaedra wasn't an accomplice.
Apollo still has some pieces left on the board and he is still able to call the shots. 
Why is this so clear to some and others can't see it?   

Notice how he whipped her around like a wet rag before he went off to prison?
 First he went over and whispered in her ear when she tried to get cute in the garage and mentioned calling the police. Phaedra straightened out quicker than the speed of light.
Then he walked out of the garage and commanded her to Come here! ......and what did big, bad Phaedra do?  She got her ugly azz over there. She couldn't even fake like she had a choice.

And how about that night in the club when he showed up and tried to talk to her and she tried to show out in front of the girls at DM video viewing party.   He walked in all late - was calling her name and she was trying to ignore him so, he came over and basically told her to get up- I want to talk to you.   She's embarrassed but, follows his orders and gets up and sits beside him but she won't talk -imo, she's scared out of her wits at what he might say on front of everyone.
He asks  her,  "Are you dismissing me or are you going to be cordial because I can go either way?"   She assures him she can be cordial but, she's still not talking so he says, "I'm trying to talk to you but, let me know because I can switch my mode real quick."
My jaw was on the floor at this point. Phaedra was stiff as a board she was so scared. When he hugged her and said, I'm still your husband don't you ever forget that,"  I thought her body was going to break in two-she was so rigid. 

 There were clear signs he was threatening her.  He was saying, "I own you- Either do as I say or I'll expose you," basically.
Even Andy called that whole scene and said Apollos words and hug felt very threatening when she came on WWHL. 

Notice how she went to see the divorce lawyer and after it aired she was on WWHL waving her wedding ring, declaring her devotion to Apollo?
Girl, Apollo is not playing with Phaedra and she knew then and STILL knows what time it is.

I read that Phaedra has been to Kentucky, (TT,  I think) while she's out here acting like she's not studying Apollo.  Yeah right.

After reading that mess about Phaedra's mom, I don't put ANYTHING past those degenerate, reprobates.  I wouldn't doubt for a second that mother knows what's up.

Wow @ Porsha's mom. I knew she was trashy- and encouraged marrying/dating for money but I didn't know the woman was involved in **** much less peddling her own daughters!
