It’s pretty obvious that’s what holds them together is the money. It’s why he can treat her the way he wants to, as well. This is like that old song, “When the Hunter Gets Captured by the Game.” You ever heard that? But now, it gets tricky, because Phaedra is a greedy old soul and as the Feds are breathing down her neck, I can see her wanting to get as much pleasure as she can out of the money. She’s not going to save it all for Apollo, and get nothing, not a chance! I think this is why she’s taking that trip, to get rid of some of the money. I remember reading an article way back when they went to Anguilla. One writer thought that was a way of stashing the money. I’ll have to see if I have that article, because I wasn’t paying Phaedra too much attention in the beginning.

But remember, for all of her “smarts” Phaedra is also not so smart. Even AS said that and I knew exactly what she meant. In fact, I don’t think Phaedra is smart at all, but lowdown people often appear to be smart based on the intricacies of their lies. They’re shrewd, but not smart, IMO. At the end of the day (he he) Phaedra thinks that her ability to con others is her greatest asset. While she may fear that Apollo might write a book, she also may roll the dice that she can beat him at his game. I wouldn’t put it past her.

And yes, Moms has the money.

Yep, when he talked about that house, neither one of them denied it, just acted like, “um hm.” That’s because they know he bought it and they know with what. And although it didn’t all come together immediately, I just thought Moms reaction was suspect. It just seemed too convenient that she only appeared in a speaking part on RHOA that late in the game. And everything was geared towards her daughter being a victim. Didn’t buy it, but now in lieu of all of this new information, I am certain that Moms is benefiting financially.

No, Moms passed on all of those opportunities to speak directly to Apollo. She didn’t want that loose cannon to expose her dirty behind. That’s what struck me too, Bobbi. No Black  Mother would put up with a man talking disrespectfully to their daughter in front of them, no way, no how. And like you said, they won’t get in your business, and they’ll let you make your own mistakes, but none of that disrespect had better ever be in their presence.

That reminds me of when my older sister got divorced and she came back home. One night her ex-husband came to the house and tried to fuss with her. She told him to leave, and within minutes, all of us had come out of our rooms. My mother’s room was on the first floor and I was shocked at how quickly she had gotten there. He barely got a word out and my mother was at the door. She pushed my sister aside and grabbed him before he knew it. You should had seen him hightailing it out of there. I was on the stairs, my help not needed. I got so weak laughing at my mother. Um uh, mothers do not play that. Nobody hits their children. It’s not happening. That might be what struck me, although I hadn’t analyzed it at the time. But I do remember thinking, there’s no way my mother would let a man talk to me that way. I can’t even see it. That’s when I knew something was up with “Pastor Regina.” Outside of a mother’s need to protect her child, she didn’t even think to call her father? That’s not right. And I got a bad feeling on that alone.

I don’t remember that part, her going upstairs and leaving her mother. That doesn’t make sense. I would never leave him alone  with my mother if I thought he was a psychopath. No, none of it fits, which is why any intelligent can’t help but question what they’re seeing. You’re right. None of the pieces fit.

They sure are the psychopaths. Speaking of gremlins someone on the board said that Phaedra looked like a Bratz doll. I hollered. But, anyway, yes, they are the psychopaths for sure.  Phaedra has as much ability to love as a dang rock. That child is heartless.

Please, Mr. Chocolate is real. When his name came up it struck a chord. I didn’t remember when I’d heard it, but the name wasn’t new to me, so I believed it when he said it and Apollo was visibly upset. No doubt his anger sprang from him and her setting up this operation and Mr. Chocolate being the recipient of all the goods, while he was locked up. That anger and hurt was genuine. 

Apollo wasn't crazy. He was angry though and with good reason. And the vernacular gave it away. That’s exactly how Phaedra talks. I knew it wasn’t about infidelity, because rumor has it that he and Phaedra trolled the strip clubs in Atlanta looking for partners all the time. They’re good for having private parties. Plus, the condom incident showed that she slept around and he didn’t seem bothered by that, he just wanted her to use condoms. Now, how would he know that she wasn’t using them? So, he had to know that she had multiple sex partners and that wasn’t a problem, because so did he.

Ha ha ha . I just said that above he knew he was in line to become AS II.

Yep, that marriage was a business arrangement and Phaedra had  those kids for two reasons, 1. Her biological clock, and Moms had aborted the previous ones, this was her last ditch effort to bear children, and 2. Because she wanted light-skinned children with “good hair.”

After that scene. Apollo didn’t play according to script. He became very disrespectful after that. First, he outs her as sleeping around and then he shows that he doesn’t a care about her in all the scenes afterwards.

I’m sure I read that she had a brother and it struck me as odd, because he’s never mentioned. If I recall correctly, her mother made a comment about her children, and I’m pretty sure she said the name David. I tried to check it out, but Phaedra’s bios on the web are very sketchy. I don’t know if I’ve even seen one that lists her mother and father. Very odd. I just realized, why is her mother’s name Bell and not Parks? There is too much deception with these two.

Is it really her dad? I can’t find any bio information on him either and her mother’s last name is Bell. Wow @ sorcery. That explains a lot. I have no memory of the dad at all.

I didn’t catch all the shade. It didn’t really occur to me that she would be so blatant. I didn’t hear the guy talking about the prenup, and while I heard the THOT comment, it wasn’t until the poster mentioned the sugar daddies that I put two and two together. You are so good. Da*n! I missed that too about the supposed affair. Girl, you got all the tea. She is very smart. Ridiculously, so.

People sometimes  think I’m silly based on the fact that I love to laugh so much, but it comes from a place of downplaying myself. If I went hard people would be too intimidated, so I tend to act like I don’t take myself seriously. Remember I’ve had a lifetime of people and friends being envious. To act like I’m all that would just be putting another dagger in my back. I can see that in Kenya. Imagine if she took total ownership of all her gifts? They really wouldn’t be able to handle her.

No, I didn’t know about the commercial. I wonder who was behind that? But that’s kenya for you, always thinking. She would have had to show it to fill in ad time from a real sitcom, but it was very well put together.

Bravo did let her sitcom be a part of her storyline don’t you think? Looking for offices, meeting with Roger Bobb and using her pilot for the finale? Bravo was going to show her sitcom after the reunion but Janet messed it up with the filing against her. It was even listed on bravo’s website for months. But, with the court case pending, it couldn’t be aired. You know Kenya, she put it on Youtube as a pilot. Always thinking, that girl.

I agree with everything you said about Phaedra. She's not dumb but, she's not the smartest person I know and her emotional intelligence is almost defunct.
She is mostly cunning and bold. 

I read about Psycho & Sociopaths a long time ago.  People think you have to be a murderer to identify with these personality traits and although I put nothing past Phaedra, that is not necessarily the case.
She is a perfect candidate for both.

Yep. Her mom is crooked too. Who would do the BS she's being accused of?  Phaedra had more than one reason to marry Apollo. Yes, she married him so he couldn't testify against him but, when I read the article about her mother I thought OMG!  No wonder Phaedra begged Apollo to marry her. No wonder she lied about when she got pregnant!  That mother!

...And Yeah Phaedra ran upstairs and left her mute momma downstairs with Apollo- the crazy man. Liar.

Girl that would have been Saturday morning breakfast or Sunday dinner comedy hour at my house and everybody would be giving their own reenactment of moms grab AND his exit. Hahahahahaha!

Yeah, we called their relationship out from the jump.  Remember,  Angela stated the same in her deposition about their business relationship.   I think Phaedra was even engaged to someone else at the time.  We had called it even before that.

We both knew Apollo was telling the truth about Mr. Chocolate but, you sure made that call on Apollo in ref to AS.

I believe Apollo  knew because of Dillon. I still don't believe that child is his and I believe he was pissed that she got pregnant.
Remember Apollo's little speech at Kenya's replay of pillow talk in Mexico, after he gave Phaedra that piñata full of condoms?   Kenya asked a question about cheating and Apollo spoke of his distrust in monogamy  and said he hopes his partner wouldn't cheat but, if she does he hopes she would at least use a condom?  Dillon was still pretty much a newborn.

  Did you notice Phaedra's body language during that speech? Just nodding her head but, stiff as a board and looking straight ahead.  Nene joked with her about her big legs at one point and I thought her face was going to crack her laugh was so short & fake.  She couldn't even get into the discussion, she was so scared about what Apollo was going to say.
You have to find that episode and watch that scene again. It was the same body language she had at the club and at this last reunion.  Guarded and scared stiff.

Then, at Dillion's coronation, Apollo was totally uninterested, disengaged, uncooperative and mad, actually. Totally different from his attitude at Ayden's ridiculous party where he willingly participated in that foolish processional of servants carrying Ayden like a Prince. He was proud Papa at Aydens party. Dillion's?  Didn't even look like he wanted to be there.

To add, after Apollo's arrest, before his sentencing he was giving interviews saying how hard it was to leave his "son."   How he felt he was letting his "son" down.
Why was he speaking like this?  He's not that stupid.
He eventually corrected it but he had already said it and a few times at that.  He just didn't think Dillion was his. He couldn't help himself. He had to put it out there.
Apollo gives subliminal clues and threats. You notice that's his M.O?

These were the same interviews where he was speaking about "if Phaedra deviates from the plan."
He was speaking in reference to her leaving him while he's in prison.  Obviously they had already discussed what would happen if he got caught and Phaedra had said she wouldn't leave him.  This was last season remember, which underscores YOUR point.  This is why  he was so  livid THIS season when he found those text to Mr Chocolate with her talking about getting off the plantation.
She was deviating from the plan!!!  Girl!

That's when Apollo lost it and started calling her out - yep the booty call on the dirty air mattress,  and the under the radar threats about outing her and giving orders about what he expects when he returns.

The  Mom's husband may not be the dad but, I could have sworn Phaedra said he was. However, it could very well explain his glaring disconnect both times I've seen him and the mom's different last name.

Phaedra's bio is sketchy - just like Nene's. All of these secrets.  These folks are a scary bunch.

Yes @ the wealthy Africans.  They normally purchase homes either in Atlanta or Houston.
The climates are similar and Houston/oil.

And girl, why is Porsha's and Lauren's mom following them around everywhere they go?  They all went to Punta Cana with her. I'm sick of these women with no lives, living off of and through their children. It's sad.

Growing up in my house we always bragged on our friends and each other.  Even today.  If a friend is performing or whatever, all you see is our teeth in the audience & don't let it be good. Lol we're high five-ing each other.  Even in church. Lol
It's why we had lots of friends growing up.
Even with my siblings, our praise comes many times in the form of playful teasing and ribbing but, we are each others biggest cheerleaders.  I don't know how to be any other way.

I Guess I was speaking of supporting Kenya's products. Heck, they let Kandi peddle that trash of hers at least 3 times this last season and many times since Bedroom Kandi's inception,  even as they filmed her casting, rehearsing as well as a huge chunk of the actual play on opening night. There were at least 3 episodes of that.
Just as they showed Phaedra a hail of a lot of times with all of her fake chit. As well as all of Nene's BS gigs.
Kenya only had 2 things. They could have shown the dang commercial.

Yeah- I had forgotten which season that Everett Tripodis was on but I remember AS talking about being upset at the fact that they were helping him out actually giving him a job AT the law firm.  Plus, another former member from Beyonce's group that Phaedra had vowed to help - all after abandoning AS.
It's one of the reasons she got PO'd and wrote the book.

I knew about Geico and guess what else? One of the databases, LexixNexis that they used to steal people's identities is a tool  used largely by Attorneys.

I read the formal indictment against Apollo- it will blow you away.

I had read that Phaedra's name was on a couple of Apollo's businesses but to that date  they hadn't found any connection to his crimes.

Girl, Phaedra is so guilty. Will someone come pick her crooked azz up already?!
