It’s funny how that worked out, isn’t it? Phaedra thought she was the hunter, masterminding everything, but Apollo ends up holding her up as the trophy. He’s a criminal; criminals know how to cover their tracks. You know he has some goods on her; somewhere she’s made a mistake. If Phaedra thought that he didn’t keep something that would implicate her, she’s crazy. That explains why she’s so compliant and backtracking on her big talk all the time. Remember her saying “bon voyage” to “Apollo is my husband and I still love him.” Then, she goes to the attorney, and in the next scene, she’s flashing her wedding ring on WWHL confirming that they’re still married. How do people miss all of this obvious bull crap?

It’s so funny, but even without hearing about her “credentials” I never saw Phaedra as being intelligent. I think she’s stupid, TBH, but her twisted logic works with those who are as dim-witted as she is. It cracks me up how they think they’re smart while constantly falling for her ignorance. I agree, Phaedra’s strength is not based on intelligent, but depravity. She’s willing to do anything to get what she wants no matter who suffers as a consequence. She will lie all the way to the grave in spite of the evidence put forth. Nope, not smart at all, just cunning and bold like you said.

I’ve also read on psychopaths and sociopaths are we are surrounded by them. The fact that they’re non-violent has nothing to do with the disorder. Plus, there’s nothing to say that they won’t cross the line into violence; it just depends on what’s at stake for them. Hells yeah, I can see Phaedra crossing that line. She would do anything to save face. Her making Apollo out to be this crazed individual is proof of that.

I can’t find anything on her mother. That bothers me, lol. Do you have anything? I would love to read it.
Yeah, I don’t think dad is going to be pulled into the BS. He knows Phaedra’s guilty. I don’t blame him for not playing the game.

LOL @my mother and brother-in-law’s “skirmish.” I was weak with laughter. We all laughed about it. She said she didn’t even remember getting out of the bed. That’s the way it is, a mother bear will do anything to protect her cubs, so I don’t buy Phaedra’s BS, not at all. It doesn’t make sense that you would leave your mother with a crazed, psychotic and violent man, without so much as a “come on mama, let’s go upstairs.” What is wrong with these idiots that support this nonsense?

Yeah, that idiot was the only one who tried it and the last one. They all loved my mom too, mainly because she wasn’t a buttinsky and she treated everyone with respect. This ninja must have been drinking that night, because we don’t play that and I’m assuming that the alcohol dulled his thought processes. He did come back and apologize to my mother. He better hada. Ha, ha, ha.

Your mom sounds so sweet. Sweet isn’t a word I would use to define my mom. She was a great humanitarian and would help anyone in need. She had high morals and unlike my friends mothers we could tease with her and she’d laugh harder than us. But, she was such a noble and dignified woman. I would love to be half the woman my mother was. Actually, I’m probably the most like her, and no one describes me as sweet either, LOL! Even though I really am.
OK, I asked my son what one word he would use to describe me. Remember, he’s a critic of the highest order. He said one day I’m nice, the next day I’m irritable, sometimes I’m chill, the next day I’m a workaholic, and the next day I want to sleep my life away, blah, blah, blah. I said, “Are you saying that I’m fickle?” and he said yes.. so, I guess I really am like my mother, because that’s what I always thought about her, lol.

Yeah, we called their relationship out from the jump.  Remember,  Angela stated the same in her deposition about their business relationship.   I think Phaedra was even engaged to someone else at the time.  We had called it even before that.

It’s pretty obvious that their marriage didn’t have a solid foundation. It was based on sex and opportunity.
Yes, Phaedra was engaged to Quad’s husband, the doctor,  before she abruptly married her freshly released con, that should be enough to give anyone the side eye, but what can you say about scarecrows (IF I only had a brain)?
Of course she sleeps around. That’s well documented in Atlanta. They say Phaedra’s reputation is mud there, from her criminal activities to her sexual exploits. But yeah, Apollo probably thought so because of Dylan, but me personally, I think Dylan looks like Phaedra, so it’s hard to tell. Good point about Apollo and the condoms and Dylan. I see where you’re coming from. When isn’t Phaedra stiff like a corpse? Any time the conversation turns to her she’s automatically on the defense. I can’t find the episode. I know it’s season 6 episode 18: en caliente, but I couldn’t find the full episode, only reviews on it.

I just read an article where Kenya talked about Mr. Chocolate a year ago. I knew I had heard that name before.

So true, there was a difference between Ayden and Dylan’s coronations and no way did I forget him referring to his “sons” in the singular. I never thought that was a mistake. I can’t imagine saying my children when I only have one. That doesn’t happen. Apollo is very good about hint dropping.. He always has been. We need him to get angry. Oh, but the dirt we would have, ha ha ha.

Her goose is cooked, for real.

I guess he is her father, his name is Parks, but there is zippo on the internet about him, or he son. They want no part of this deception. The clue are the sketchy bios. These are things that are usually obligatory, parents and siblings. Lies all around.

Yeah, that is weird how her mother and Lauren are always with her. More proof that moms is unemployed. Her only business is getting Porsha and Lauren paid.

Oh, I see. Yes, kenya is silly. That’s why I like her. She doesn’t take herself so seriously. Most people think that you have to follow a certain formula in life. Kenya, being an ex-beauty queen is supposed to be shallow, superficial, and not too bright. She destroys these stereotypes so people are suspicious of her.

Wow, you’d better take me with you. I absolutely adore Kenya, always have, especially after she won that pageant. It was a tradition in our house to watch the pageants together. We would pick our favorites and wait to see who had bragging rights in the end. Of course, I picked Kenya and when she won I was ecstatic, not to mention going overboard because she was chocolate. That was huge back then and as I recall it had never happened before.
I feel the same way, someone has to really touch me in order to feel anything, but there’s something so real and genuine about Kenya, not to mention her vulnerability and strength; a deadly combination.  A social setting would be great. If you ever do it, you must tell me and take a selfie with her from her other biggest fan!

It’s weird, because even though I don’t care about things like looks and status, etc. people always group me in that category. I don’t try to come off as intelligent, but again I get grouped there. Now, without acting that way I have definitely experienced my share of haters. I can’t imagine how it would be if I thought too highly of myself. It would be a nightmare. My life would be harder, I think.

Ooh, no. not bragging aloud. We just don’t have that. My niece is so beautiful. She wanted to be a model, but she lacks that oomph. she is gorgeous with makeup or without. But on the daily she never plays herself up. That’s just how we are.

If Bravo was smart, they’d make her the center of the show and let her fun and quirky nature set the stage for the franchise, instead they want to showcase felons and people of ill repute. Yes, Janet should be ashamed of herself. She caused a lot of brouhaha about nothing. Kenya will get hers and it may not ever come from Bravo, but others are watching and I think she’ll get the break that she’s worthy of.

Angela had nothing to worry, that scene was for storyline purposes only. That office wasn’t Phaedra’s, it belonged to someone else. A poster once said that the office pictures were of a white family and their children, lolololol!
Ooh, that Phaedra is a dirty dog. Always scheming and planning.

That’s what’s making it tricky, but they will catch Phaedra’s tacky behind. It’s just a matter of time.

Phaedra is a lying, liar who lies - I love that saying from TT.

Even her profession is a fraud. She chose it because she wants the illusion of what she perceives as affluence as well as a license to steal. 
Smart. Nah. I don't think so either.

I know that you don't have to have a Harvard Masters degree in the English dialect to express yourself but, she is supposed to be a litigator for Pete's sake. She is expected to be able to argue in court for an individuals freedom, their rights  etc.
What judge/jury would respect her arguments with    her grammar?  What person would even trust her enough to find out?

When Phaedra in one of the first scenes that I remember, asked; "what is you DOin?"  I immediately dismissed any notion of her being intelligent.
No lawyer I know says "what IS you DOin'  and chop THEY heads off"

I  sometimes use "aint" and destroy my tenses for effect.  Eg.don't in place of doesn't etc.
  Overall, I can do better myself but I would never by mistake or habit, screw up my verb subject agreement.  That to me is a clear sign of unintelligence.  I have NEVER heard that type of speak from any college grad I know.

I will never believe she took the bar and passed on her own.  Most of the bar requires no more than a great memory but, there is a specific skill set required in the written portion that is required to Pass the Bar as well and especially to be an effective lawyer;

1.   It requires logical reasoning.
2.  It requires Sound judgement.
3. Attention to detail
4. Ability to be Persuasive as in a deliberation, argument or debate. (different from the ability to persuade by conning or lying)
5.  Interpersonal skills and Whether or not you are trustworthy.

I know there are more but, I would certainly think those were the main ones. I could give many instances that prove she doesn't possess those qualities above, I'm sure you could too.
In the words of Cynthia "Win a case!"  I don't think she has. Processed some forms maybe. Lol.

My fiancé teases me all the time that I should have been a lawyer. (you &I would have made a great legal team by the way if I must say so myself. . Hahahaha.

@ Pastor Belle -You know, I have tried before too, back when I was asking questions about her but, can't find anything on Phaedra's mom either.  The other Regina Belle is a pastor too you know, so maybe the famous one just drowns her out on the net.  I just know "Pastor" Belle's mothers name is Hazel L. Meadows,  passed away 2012.  Maybe a good starting point when I find some time. Lol.
Maybe researching the dad may tell us something too.

You're right at Phaedra running away &leaving her mom downstairs with Apollo.
 I am just as protective of my mom as she is of me.
This is how we know Phaedra is liar about him being dangerous. She wouldn't have left her.

I never knew what you meant when you first said that but then in your subsequent email you explained. I meant to tell you I was touched by that. But we talk about so much stuff.  It slipped by me.

Back to Phaedra being engaged. -I discount anyone who calls her a friend. That includes miss Quads ratchet behind.

Imo, At Dylan's age by now you should be able to pick out one attribute of Apollo's - Just like Ayden looks like Apollo but he still has Phaedra's nose and lips.

@ Bragging. Trust me- I know exactly what you are speaking of when you speak of downplaying your gifts.
 We never bragged on ourselves but we certainly bragged on our friends.
Still do.
Our bragging about each other was never boastful - and never publicly. It was always in the form of playful ribbing and teasing and we never put ourselves above others. 
We always downplayed & deferred to others just as you spoke of.

There was a lot of jealousy in our small community and mostly in our church, believe it or not which our world revolved around- I was a kid so it was pretty  devastating for me, really.

It's why I have no patience for jealousy and haters or fake, hateful Christians in my adult life.

Girl, I could write a book about those days. I didn't even begin to touch on it.  Your words are not foreign at all. 


But yep- probably a big reason I can't stand Phaedra or Nene. Lol.

This is interesting.  Ran across Kenya's  blog that I had saved regarding Phaedra at the end her first season when she thought about not coming back:

"Despite the outlandish theatrics and wild accusations thrown at me during Reunion Part 3, I stand firm in my opinion that Apollo is a nice guy who happens to be in a bad situation.  We’ve heard him say verbatim he’s “married to a beast,” “has resentment” toward his wife, and “would like to get back to the way things used to be.”  Believe me, many others including myself have fallen prey to Phaedra’s heinous manipulations. Apollo and I had initially communicated via group text and emails when collaborating on the workout video. We were amiable to one another even after the deal fell through and remained cordial. We have seen the extreme lows of how far Phaedra is willing to stoop by what she did to NeNe, me, Angela Stanton, and anyone else who dares to cross her.  She even went as far as to recruit my ex as a client and advised him to exploit himself by lying about the status of our relationship in staged radio interviews. The nuances of her statements give it away… “They called him”. How would she know that had she not been directly communication with him?  Phaedra will never be the smartest woman in the room if I’m also present. She’s obsessed with trying to hurt me but she will continue to lose that battle in perpetuity.

With her alleged illegal dealings and random and ridiculous business ventures, she is not only a liar, an embarrassment to her family, as well as the laughing stock of the law industry. Her vicious gratuitous retaliatory actions are never warranted. Are we all wrong? Judge for yourself. With that said, I wish Apollo all the best.

Phaedra: God brings people into your life for a reason. You are the reincarnation of my mother. Your actions and evil will toward me goes beyond any fight. You meant to destroy me with your planted blog stories, reckless false accusations, counsel to my ex, and sinister behavior in its lowest form. Yet, you have only made me stronger and wiser. ....GetReal this was her first season so it obviously got much worse and Kenya still tried to forgive this woman and asked for her forgiveness in return.
