In this article called “”Saving Grace; Phaedra Parks,” when referring to her mother Phaedra says. “my mother was very protective and firm with us.”

Oddly, this article mentions her mother only, although it alludes to her father and brother, there is no mention of them in the article. Weird, huh? I'm pretty sure her mother called him David. I already tried to look him up, but no luck there either.

Speaking of bragging- my parents are so humble it would have been weird for me to grow up that way.
My parents (mom) were very strict but I love how they raised us.  They instilled in us a servants spirit.  If you ever come to my home you are treated very special. We (siblings) treat each other that way too when we visit.

I can definitely believe she bombed in the courtroom.
There are lots of great lawyers in the same position as Phaedra - they are partners in law firms or have their own practices.
These professionals have carved out a great name for themselves and have a great client list. Some have  practices so full they can't take you and/or are successful enough they only take a few big cases a year. I know a few.

However, The average lawyer does exactly what Phaedra does.  Process forms.  Nothing wrong with that but, she needs to stop perpetrating.

They handle a hodgepodge of legal "stuff" that range from handling divorces to parking tickets/traffic violations to petty contract disputes.
In other words, they take anything that they can get to be able to charge a fee- and they are far from wealthy or even comfortable.  Why people think so, I don't know.

That stated Phaedra can go somewhere trying to make people think her legal career is so great.
When your biggest and last celebrity is Bobby Brown, I rest my case.

It's probably  why her devious, reprobate mind decided to use her JD to break the law  instead of to uphold it.
It's why she was always looking for other careers and angles to nestle her crimes in.

You're right about those gaps in Phaedra's thought process.  Plus, she is not quick on her feet.  You've heard the simple ish that comes out of her mouth when she is forced to be spontaneous.
Otherwise, her words are always very measured.  Perhaps too, because she's always thinking of her next lie and trying not to get caught in her last one. Lol.

Why people thought that was impressive, I don't know. Not only was her information erroneous, but it was clearly rehearsed and she seemed far more "shook" than Kenya.  She looked like she was about to lose it, which made her "read" totally ineffective. To add, we all knew that reference she made to the lawless man -axe murder, child molester baby daddy- was about to come back and bite her in the azz.

That would be crazy if Phaedra's mom had her identity removed from the Internet. But, I wouldn't put it past her.  I went to Phaedra's twitter after reading an article today and she has pics posted of she and her best friend who is along on this excursion. So, I tried to go to this girls twitter and her page is private. Why is there so much secrecy surrounding anyone involved with this woman?  Probably Phaedra's side piece. Hahaha. Take a look. Sure looks like it.  I hug on my girlfriends in pics too but, just something about this. 

Agree @ Quad and that show.  Speaking of Quad- Phaedra endorses her on her twitter telling folks to tune in for her girl. There is a photo of Quad with her tag line, "Don't come for me honey, Miss Quad slays dragons" and I died laughing at some of the tweets:

EXCLUSIVE! Piping Hot Season Eight RHOA Casting Tea

As you know Tamaratattles.com has been bothering RHOA sources for weeks regarding pickup letters. They went out VERY late this season as the new production team tries to figure out how to move forward. Production has been moving toward a more “housewifey” storyline for the upcoming season. Though Nene Leakes appears to come up with these ideas all on her own, what really happens according to my sources is she finds out the new plan and then goes on a talk show and says that is what she wants to happen. It’s quite ingenious actually.

So pickup letters were received yesterday. But this year, I don’t have complete information yet. This is what I know for sure. Kenya, Cynthia, Kandi and Nene are all receiving full contracts.  Phaedra, Claudia and Porsha can be neither confirmed or denied at this point. My sources say that are all three unlikely to return. However, there may still be hope for Claudia fans. Claudia has been spotted with a new man so perhaps a new relationship will attract the interest of production?  Just because she didn’t get a letter in the original batch, it doesn’t mean she is definitely out. Porsha is having her usual meltdown with production at this time. They tried to get rid of her two seasons ago and then the divorce happened. She has a history, according to tamaratattles.com  sources of pulling stunts to get them to reconsider and they have reconsider in the past two seasons. Will she be able to pull out another miracle? I’m a bit shocked by Phaedra’s departure. Her tactic for staying on the show is appealing to Andy through her children. Andy seems to fall for this every time. But now that Apollo is not part of the package, it seems Phaedra is not as appealing to Andy.  Phaedra’s lack of relationship to film may have done her in.

In other news, the usual testing of potential new housewives for RHOA has begun. They generally test a handful of hopefuls every year and then film some practice scenes with an established housewife. With the success of Lisa Rinna and Eileen Davidson on RHOBH this season, it seems that RHOA is looking for their own actresses this year.  Tamaratatles.com sources can officially confirm that Kim Fields, best known to most of us as Tootie from The Facts of Life as well as Regine Hunter on Living Single is testing for a RHOA slot.  Tamaratattles.com sources  say another unnamed younger actress is also shooting test scenes.

Two other ladies are also being tested to appear on RHOA . One is a professional dancer (not that kind) named Tammy who is married to a white man. She is said to be getting positive feedback from production who refers to her as quirky and fun. The other is Lena Chenier, the longtime fiancée  of Robert Lavelle “R.L.” Huggar who was the lead singer in the band NEXT back in the day. I expect their story line if they make it to be about her trying to actually get down the aisle as they have been together for years. Also they are both very vocal with their religion on social media so she could be vying to replace Phaedra as the housewife most likely to talk about how religious she is.

Three of the four women are married, Lena lives with her man and last I heard was still engaged but some places claim she is married. Again, brace yourselves for more house husbands. It seems that Kenya will be the only unmarried housewife next season.

As always, this is my preliminary tea based on pickup letters and production gossip. It is a LONG TIME until final post production editing. You never know what will happen. But this is how things stand now. I say this every year and then have people telling me I was wrong about something. In the reality TV world things are always changing and nothing is written in stone.

Crazy right?  But yayyy - if true no more Phaedraaa!  (Or Porsha!)

OT: In the comment section TT reminded me that Nene didn't get invited to attend the Tony awards. Hahahahaaa!  Lmao! I had forgotten all about that.
And her fans had the audacity to say she was nominated. Remember that?  Please!  That Bish wasn't even invited to fill a seat in the audience. LOLOLOL!
When have you ever heard of that happening to someone who played a main character? Especially a play with so many nominations. Straight Diss!

It really is sad. It makes me wonder who is this God that they serve. Do they think He can’t see through them? It’s weird, it’s as if them thinking they’re fooling us is effective enough to fool God. I don’t get it.

I’m sure they would have knocked you out for not being humble. It sounds like they were committed to their family and doing the right things. “A servant’s spirit,” I totally believe in that. Unfortunately, many people don’t understand the importance of having that kind of spirit. I live by it, and pity the ones who misunderstand. That’s how I am with my son and his friends. That has come back to bite me in many ways. Some of the things his friends ask me to do is mind-boggling! I’m like WTH! Can you teach me how to drive? Can you run me to my job because I left something? Can I wash my clothes? One summer I seriously felt like I had three children instead of one. I had to put the other two up for adoption. I can barely stand my own knucklehead.

You are so funny. You have such a knack for bringing up visuals. Reading your words is like watching a movie. Can’t you imagine that scene in a movie? Classic!

Yep, that’s what’s so irritating about Phaedra; she’s an idiot who thinks that she’s a genius. Her smug and condescending attitude makes me want to shake her. She probably thinks she’s so smart because of her inner circle; everyone she hangs around with are felons, strippers, and criminals. She feels superior to them, but in the real world, that chick is stupid. No one with any decent credentials would willingly hang around with the group that she cavorts with. Something in the buttermilk ain’t clean, for real, and it starts with her.

You know she bombed in the courtroom because she’s not quick-witted enough; she hesitates too much when called on to issue a response. This would not go over well in the courtroom. It would come off as indecision. It would also make her look unprepared and lacking in credibility. She didn’t even do well in that staged scene with Sheree. I was expecting a dynamic courtroom performance and she came off  like a deer in headlights. Phaedra is fake through and through.

I hear you about being a lawyer. So many people erroneously believe that being a lawyer equates to success, but that’s not true. Lawyers need clients and clients don’t just fall in your lap. Plus, you would need a track record of successful litigations. Phaedra has none of this, especially if she’s still talking about a decades old case. People think that because of the way that lawyers are portrayed on TV, but the average lawyer doesn’t usually enjoy a plethora of high end clients that can afford them a luxurious lifestyle. I’m more than sure that’s why Phaedra turned to the lower dregs of society, but even that isn’t lucrative; so Phaedra resorted to criminal activities and used her JD to keep her from being caught. That’s the only value she’s gotten from her education, and soon that’s going to bite her in the rear end.

I agree. Common sense tells you that if her primary professional netted the income that she desired there would be no need for four other jobs. This chick is so stupid. Ugh! She gets on my last nerve.
Phaedra’s so slow. I would love to be on a reunion with her. I would trip that chick up in so many ways. I’m usually sitting there watching the TV and saying, “And what did Jesus do about the **** in the Bible? Did He ever suggest going on a circuit to shame them? Who is this Jesus that you serve?”

That "read” was the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. I get angry just thinking about all the misinformation it contained and all while she sat next to a twice convicted felon? People who fell for that are as dumb as she is. Idiots talking about she gives the best reads, not when they don’t make sense. Ha ha ha, it didn’t take long for karma to get her. You know she’s somewhere shaking in her boots now. There’s no way she’s getting out of this mess.

Exactly, Phaedra’s mother is a public figure. I can pull up tons of references on the internet about my pastor, why isn’t there anything on those two? Their names should be mentioned in weddings, funerals, event, etc.But there’s nothing? Dirty! All of them.

That is too funny about Nene not being invited to be an audience member. That just shows you that her reputation is in the toilet. Nene is dying a slow death. Ha ha ha, at being excited for her renewal. Isn't this the show that she's always acting like is so disposable? Bravo should make her behind grovel. Hopefully, she'll get a horrific edit that finally sends her over the top. Yeah, I remember her fans talking chit. That's why it's bad that RHOA is on hiatus. Man, this needs to be rubbed in their noses. We can't forget this when the new season starts. LOL @ them thinking that Nene garnered respect in the industry. That scene with her and the director should've let them know how over-inflated her ego is and how respected professionals aren't going to extend their hands to someone who hasn't done anything and yet expects to behave like a diva. Interesting about Cynthia being renewed. I hope this isn't a storyline where she and Nene become friends again. That would be horrible. But, I can see her turning on Kenya in a heartbeat. Cyn is so weak. And Kandi, I don't know. No telling what they'll try to do to Kenya, especially if Claudia isn't there. They're afraid of gettig read by Claudia because Claudia will put it out there on their behinds, and they know it.

Kim Fields? I like Kim, but for the life of me I can't understand why she would do this show. Ooh mercy. I guess people don't realize how evil-infested this show is and what it can do to your reputation. Sigh.
