I'll bet she's talking about this. Showing Andy that she can get viewers, but I have to give this the side-eye, because this story hit within the last two days, right around the time that TT put out that Porsha wasn't coming back, unless Nene didn't get an ally.
Porsha has mastered Nene's game of conjuring up her own news. There may have been a spike, but sixth behind those mainstream shows? That's hard to believe. I tried to find out the top rated news/magazines, but was unsuccessful. I also checked Andy's twitter, but Porsha wasn't even on there, so that's a misleading as well. Which may be why the conversation thing doesn't work. There's nothing there. There is no response or acknowledgement from Andy on Twitter. So...
Porsha Williams Causes ‘Dish Nation’ Ratings to IncreaseJun 10, 15 by Deron Dalton
http://www.eurweb.com/2015/06/porsha-williams-causes-dish-nation-ratings-to-increase/*Porsha Williams lost her spot as a series regular on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” for her story lacking interest, but viewers on “Dish Nation” must find her very interesting. Ever since she joined the program the ratings have spiked, and it’s now her main gig!
She also joined the “Rickey Smiley Morning Show” last summer with Claudia Jordan and has been impressive ever since. She guest hosted for the Ebony Steele who was given the boot. And then, she was promoted to a regular host for the news magazine show.
According to AlwaysAList, a Fox exec said Williams was chosen to join the show because she tested well with focus groups and had great chemistry with Rickey Smiley.
And since she joined, the show’s ratings are up 20 percent more than last year. The show’s overall rating is 0.6. The show has a 40-percent increase in the 25 to 54 demographic.
The show is in sixth place when it comes to news magazine programs — right behind “Entertainment Tonight,” “Inside Edition,” “TMZ,” “Access Hollywood” and“Extra!”
