New Frosty Cold SWEET TEA on RHOA Casting


I was up all night watching Big Brother. Today it is 82 degrees inside my house and close to 100 outside. I feel like I am literally being cooked. It is too hot to think and too hot to post. This place has turned into some sort of cancer survivor thunderdome. It’s exhausting and I need a coffee enema just to deal with all the hostility.

So naturally, I get new RHOA tea. I’m sure y’all remember the last casting tea which sucked, and quite frankly did not make sense. The thought that Kenya was even in question was perplexing to me.  I swear, every year the production team seems to sit in a room with all the potential housewives’  photos and blindfold themselves before throwing darts to see who is in and who is out.  But there has never been a much confusion as there is this year. I blame Nene cutting off her nose to spite her face decisions.  There was supposed to be filming this week and….nothing happened. More meetings. More musical peaches.

As of today (stay tuned, folks),  we have some good news. TEAM PRETTY IS ALL IN! Kenya, Cynthia and Claudia are all back in. Yes, even Claudia! Apparently, Claudia will be filming with her new man. Also, last season’s “African Prince” is next season’s “NBA player”. Claudia’s new man is an NBA player and a free agent expected to sign with the Miami Heat very soon.  Porsha is also claiming to have rounded up an NBA player to film with next season.  Maybe those two will double date! LOL don’t count on it.

It seems Claudia leaving town and going to Miami put the fear of God in Bravo to **** or get off the pot. I expect her to head back to Atlanta early next week. I could not be happier about this news. So many people read her hint in her post about leaving RSMS as dropping a hint that she was back on RHOA. I frankly had given up all hope until it was confirmed for me late this afternoon. I even told people in email that it wasn’t happening as recently as earlier today. But it is official. Team Pretty is fully reunited.

As far as I can tell Phaedra and Porsha are also still in. So, FOR NOW, everyone is back from last season except for Nene, and Kim Fields is very likely also in.  ALL OF THIS IS PRE-PRODUCTION.  Remember last year, Demetria started with a peach that Claudia ended up with.  It’s not clear if Phaedra, Porsha, KIm  or Claudia have peaches going in. Kenya, Kandi,and Cynthia do. FOR NOW.

Things are looking up. I’d still like to lose some Ps… but this is way better than the last line-up.  As long as Claudia survives filming, I’ll be happy.

It will be interesting to see if filming actually gets going next week. I need them to get moving before there is another change in the line-up.

This is so nerve-wracking. Can you imagine being a housewife in this situation? I can barely deal with all the wishy-washy “decisions.”  Can you imagine being Claudia? She’s been strung along for weeks.  Also today it seemed like Rickey Smiley was trying to be nice to Claudia after railing on her last week. Drama abounds. Maybe RHOA thought Claudia’s departure from RSMS would be good storyline for ratchetness between Claudia and Porsha.

Okay, I’m going to take a cold shower and try to bring my body temperature down. I am trying to stay away from this place for a minute until the cancer **** dies down. I can’t deal with people insulting other peoples’ choices of treatment. And I am having problems maintaining my composure with a few arrogant bullies in those comments.

I just need to chill.
