Confirmed: NeNe Leakes To Host ‘Fashion Police’

It’s been confirmed, NeNe Leakes will join E!’s Fashion Police and will take a seat alongside Melissa Rivers, Brad Goreski and Giuliana Rancic.

The former Real Housewives of Atlanta star confirmed the big news on her blog Wednesday morning in a post titled: Making Joan Proud:

“I’m honored to sit next to @mel_rivers on Monday for #FashionPolice as she takes her mom seat for the very first time. Joan gave me some great career advice one day while I was there co-hosting and I have never forgotten her words! Tune in MONDAY to E and catch us readdddd these girls fashions hunni from the VMA’s red carpet #lifeofnene #makingjoanproud #VMAS #FP #E.”

NeNe appeared as a guest host several times on past seasons and clearly becomes a fan fave.

FP first hit airwaves back in September 2010 with Joan Rivers, Giuliana Rancic, George Kotsiopoulos and Kelly Osbourne. Following the death of Rivers in September 2014, the show brought on Kathy Griffin to proceed the late comedian and hired Goreski  to take the place of Kotsiopoulos.

In February 2015, Osbourne announced her departure from the hit fashion series and just one month later, Griffin announced she too was stepping down. The network announced the show would return in September 2015 after they figure out the best way to revamp the popular program.

The new season will premiere on August 31 for only six episodes.

She was the breakout star on The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s seventh season, and a source speaking to OKMagazine.com has revealed that Claudia Jordan will indeed be returning for the show’s Season 8. Despite talk she was fired earlier this summer, the source said that Jordan “wasn’t released” from her contract for the show. The source added that Jordan recently learned that she would be coming back for the new season that has already seen some major cast shakeups! Talk of Jordan’s rumored firing first began to grow around June, with RHOA fans questioning if NeNe Leakes may have played a role in getting her nemesis booted from the series. However, when Leakes later announced her exit from the show, it was revealed that Jordan was still being considered for the Season 8 cast.

A source speaking to RadarOnline.com confirmed that along with Moore, Kandi Burruss, Cynthia Bailey, Phaedra Parks and Porsha Williams are all coming back for Season 8. Over the past few weeks, Shereé Whitfield, Kim Fields, Marlo Hampton and Amiyah Scott have also been added to the reported lineup, with all of those ladies -- including Jordan -- being spotted at the launch event for Moore’s haircare line on Aug. 17.

The excitement surrounding the new season is continuing to grow. And with Jordan added to the reported list of cast members, fans are certain this may be one of the show’s most enjoyable seasons ever!

I hope this is true, too. Nene would be livid.

So Marlo Hampton will have an Increased Role on R.H.o.A?

NeNe Leakes left a huge hole in the Real Housewives of Atlanta cast when she walked away from the reality show earlier this year.

Now insiders claim Marlo Hampton has been tapped to pick up the slack…

Sources tell The Real Mr. Housewife that Marlo, “is going to be back full time,” this season.
Will Marlo be enough to make viewers forget about Nene?

Daaaag, six episodes and Nene could only score one of those?  Crazy. Even if she got all 6 of them it's a joke.
.....and the way it's shaping up everybody that Nene did dirty is coming back to the show even if just a few shows. It shows you how she was probably throwing some real tantrums about them appearing while she was on the show.
Now, if only Kim would film- she said she would probably do it and that would kill Nene. Lol. That is the only reason I want her to make an appearance. Just to rub it in Nene's face. Lol.
 Funny how now all of a sudden she went from you couldn't pay me enough to I would film with them if I was asked, NOW, that she knows Nene isn't coming back.
It would be hilarious if they all showed up for an episode and all reminisced about Nene's dirt she's done to all of them over the years.  All they would have to do is show the previews. That would be a ratings bonanza. Hahahaha

I was sleepy when I was reading the article and missed that she wasn’t doing all six episodes. Yippee, hooray, and clicking my heels together after doing several cartwheels in a row. LOLOLOLOL! She only has one appearance out of the six episodes? Ha ha ha ha. They couldn’t even give her all six, which as you said wouldn’t be a big deal. Melissa is adamant that Nene will not be a permanent fixture on that show. She has been fighting Nene’s involvement since the beginning and this was the best she would do as far as compromising. Wow, Melissa must hate Nene’s guts and she isn’t afraid to say it.

OTOH, I can’t believe how she is trying to spin it. Nene knows Melissa doesn’t like her. I’ll bet she goes overboard trying to kiss Melissa’s behind and it still won’t work, woohoo!

These cast changes Bravo keeps making are really rubbing her nose in it, she’s so stupid all she can see is red (Kenya). Kenya is probably laughing her head off. She got her good. I can’t believe Kim said she’d probably do it. More proof that she hates Nene and that show is never going to happen. I knew she looked too terrified in all of their pictures together. She found the best way to screw Nene over for good. They can’t handle Kim, can they? She has outwitted every last one of them she dealt with. First Kandi, now Nene. Too bad Nene is so preoccupied with Kenya that she can’t address one of her very real problems, which is Kim, who just took food out of her mouth.

Yep. She sure said it the last time she was on WWHL.   He asked her about Nene leaving and she said she thought Nene had done the best thing for her but,  I bet they both had a good time dragging her off camera. &  She sure did take most of that cast for suckers. 
I don't even care for that chick but, every one of them that she got over on - they deserved it. She isn't even smart. How could they even have been bested by her. Dummies.

It is embarrassing.  True to form,  there are no stories on RT. Watch, though. The first hint of any negativity about Kenya's "friend" will be put up immediately.
