She's Back! NeNe Leakes Will Return to Broadway in Chicago

From the ATL to Chi-Town! Real Housewives of Atlanta alum NeNe Leakes has just revealed she will tackle the legendary role of Matron “Mama” Morton in the Broadway production of Chicago. NeNe's run in the iconic musical will begin November 23 and run through December 20. Fans might remember the character from Queen Latifah's spin on the role in the 2002 film adaptation of the musical.

And NeNe has been taking her role rather seriously, teasing on Instagram that she's been taking vocal lessons to prepare.
NeNe last appeared on the Great White Way as the Wicked Stepmother in Cinderella last year. In addition to her role in Chicago, earlier this month she revealed she will also appear on Spike's Lip Sync Battle. So much Nene, so little time!
Now we wonder what wig NeNe will wear in Chicago. We mean, as you can see below, she's never been shy to rock one.

This was definitely awkward casting for The Real. Nene is outside of the shows targeted audience which caters to more of a 18-34 demographic.

While she’s only three years older than co-host Loni Love who’s 47, Loni has more of a youthful, bubbly and funny personality. We think Nene’s loud and brash tone would have been more fitting on The View where she could have read Raven-Symoné for filth.

Nene Leakes Rears Her Ugliest Head Yet

So I am sitting here, sipping on water and lemonade, curled up under a blanket trying to watch some of my shows, when someone sends me a link to this mess. Nene Leakes filling in for Tamar on The Real Ratchet Show today. I mean haven’t we all forgotten about Nene by now? She hasn’t posted on her website in weeks and it’s been so peaceful without her presence.

But I looked thinking I was not going to sit up an post another blog right now, and at first I thought it was odd they were keeping her completely off camera. She is seated on the far left hand side and they don’t show her at all for a good bit and then, there she is.

I honesty believe his hair is worse than the dutchboy hair, worse than the bride of Frankenstein wig, worse than Ramen noodles, hell it is worse than that commercial where two female roommates are fighting over who had the worst day to get first crack at the hot water and the one girl takes the towel off her head to show her new haircut that just some tore up mess.

We are also reminded that she doesn’t have a west coast spackle person, so there is no contouring to give her face any hint of femininity. I can only imagine that crap she is wearing accenting her linebacker shoulders is from her collection. It’s the cheapest looking thing I’ve ever seen on TV.

I was so put off by her look, I kept thinking about how Kaitlin Jenner has more feminine features than Nene and that includes her hands. It took me a minute to even hear the stupid things she was saying. This is unbelievably bad. How is the mess still not cancelled? Seriously, Big Ang is more feminine than Nene in this look.

Notice how Nene is not even in the frame for 98% of the second clip. Then she starts leaning in to Tamera, or Tia whichever one it is.
