Rookie Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Fields lost her Atlanta area home to foreclosure according to court records.

The property in question is not the home you see on the Bravo hit reality show currently, it’s the former home Fields shared with her ex-husband, Lawrence D. Freeman.

The couple fell behind on mortgage payments for their three-bedroom Powder Springs, Georgia, house, and the property went into default in 2009. The suburban home went up for sale to the highest bidder that April, with CitiMortgage, Inc. picking up the property for $89,941.96.

The actress, best known for her roles in “Facts of Life” and “Living Single,” joined the show’s vets — as well as fellow newbie Shamea Morton — for Season 8.

The home foreclosure is not Fields only money woes, the mother of two owes more than $212,000 in back federal taxes. She failed to pay taxes for three full years: 2011, 2012, and 2013.

This would explain why Fields took the RHOA reality TV gig. A question that many viewers pondered when it was announced Fields would join the cast.
