Phaedra I am Closer to Porsha Williams Than Kandi

It looks as though Phaedra Parks and Kandi Burruss aren’t going to be best friends again any time soon, despite what their fans had hoped.

 After the two BFFs started feuding during Season 7 of Real Housewives of Atlanta, when Phaedra accused Kandi of not supporting her enough during the tumultuous period leading to Apollo Nida’s incarceration and Kandi claiming she wasn’t getting much of a shoulder to lean on either, it looked as though the two were starting to mend fences, but it seems like the pair can’t totally undo the damage to their friendship.

Although the pair’s heart-to-heart in Season 8 seemed to be getting them back on the right track (as did Phaedra’s attendance at Kandi’s recent baby shower), Phaedra admits to OK! Magazine they’re still a work in progress.

 “We’re trying to rebuild and only time will tell what happens,” says the mom of two.

Phaedra may still need a shoulder to cry on over the ongoing drama with her jailbird hubby and her attempts to make things work as a single mom, but with Kandi demoted from best friend status, she’s had to look elsewhere, subbing in her outfit twin Porsha Williams as her go-to girl.

 “I’m closer to Porsha at this point in time,” says Phaedra.
