he needs around 450-500 points to completely lock up the #1 rank.
no telling what he is going to do but one thing is for sure: nobody can take away his new world #1 status right now.
I think this was a good loss. this keeps him healthy so that is absolutely huge in my book. he escaped china with no injury issues.
secondly it keeps him on his toes. he will know that he has to work hard in some areas.
so losses around this time of the year are good. they force you to get better.
