Hello Ladies and Gentleman,
I'm new here and looking forward to a great tennis environment. I'm a girl. Thought I'd get that out of the way, since due to my posting style, people always think I'm a dude
.
I'm a Rafa fan, but like a lot of other players. Problem with that is they don't win a lot, so not much to talk about with them.
Must say Shanghai got pretty brutal towards the end, but I always look for the good in a situation.
Yeah Rafa lost, but del Potro was on fire.
Still, I always enjoy a loss or two before the big one, AO 2014. Usually that just makes Rafa sharper. Hoping it happens again.
Hola! I totally missed your post yesterday. I am typically a very busy person...especially these days, so don't really find time to browse around and read all posts even here. So do apologize for the delay.
Yes, I hail from Toronto, Canada. lol. And a huge Andy fan. Indifferent to Nadal but I do appreciate his effort and competitiveness.
How did you find us btw? Just curious.
Yes, Shanghai was brutal for Rafa fans mainly because he took a straight loss to a very good hard-courter, but it wasn't highly unexpected. Had he made the final, he would have knocked out by Nole as well or at least most likely. He's road was quite tough (Wawrinka, Del Potro, Nole) so in retrospect, it was probably a good loss or else he would have taken another defeat to Nole. I did think he got lucky with his US Open draw but hey, it is what it is and one time or another, everyone got away with easy draws. Personally I think Del Potro, Isner, Nole and Murray are all quite dangerous for him as far as hard courts are concerned.
