I am going to call it the achievement of the century because that is just about how long it took after Fred Perry for a man from the United Kingdom to come and take the highly coveted Wimbledon crown.

I have to agree. That was a monumental monkey on someone's back. Being a top player just exacerbated the problem. I wanted it so badly for Murray, and am glad that he was able to fight his way through that.

Sometimes people lose sight that these athletes, celebrities, etc. are still human.

But he handled himself, the situation, and his disappointments so well.

Andy is such a class act. His triumph was well deserved.
