Wimbledon IS tennis. It is a wonderful place to live!

Thanks Embla. I found it a fascinating read. Fred Perry was apparently quite the ladies' man. He was married to a few and dated some others while he was a star, so quite the opposite of Andy. But what I found interesting was that, he was not at all well recognized by his own countrymen during his time in tennis and it took them 20 years to do so. By that time, he had retired, gotten older etc.

And of course, Andy is not Fred Perry since Fred died in 1995 and Andy was born in 1987, 8 years before Perry died but of course, it's a very nice thought nonetheless given the eerie similarities.
