General, I revived and updated the Federer 100 titles and 20 slams Quest thread.  Federer has Lendl in his sights. 14 more to go   If he can get to 90, be sure that thread won't need reviving...

Too bad he couldn't have won a couple more of those 8 finals he has made so far this year, but it is what it is.  Indian Wells was certainly winnable, losing in the deciding tiebreaker.  He pretty much gifted Hewitt the title in Brisbane, and he made it very close at the end at Wimbledon. 

Considering the state of the other top players going into the US Open, I think he has to be one of the favorites to win it, but I don't think it will be that easy. Also, one has to wonder how much longer he can keep this good run of form. One thing that he doesn't want to jeopardize is Switzerland's best chance to win a Davis Cup, with the semifinal against Italy in Geneva coming up right after the US Open. Both he and Wawrinka have naturally made it a priority.
