In order to be happy we've got to avoid the news if we can.

Sometimes we've just got to avoid our foe.

We feel sorry for the victims but what can we do?
We can hope that it's over as soon as can be.
We can't let it make us feel that blue.
We can hope that soon the world will be free.

I hope that some day there'll be world peace.
I hope 1 day we'll all get on with each other.
I hope 1 day all wars will forever cease.
