I hear ya general Tee.
of course I am not happy about this. Miami is a bit more warm and humid. it would be good for the back if he was there already if he is going to compete at Miami masters.
I don't know what the hell he is still doing in indian wells.
anyway at this point I hope he loses quickly in Miami. if the back gets worse he can say goodbye to his clay season and perhaps the whole season.
that would be tragic beyond all belief.
a back that wont heal and actually gets worse can also end his career. he is being really stupid about this.
he needs to get off the hard courts ASAP and go on home. to hell with the points. go home and go get on clay fool. and save yourself for the clay season where you have defend everything under the sun.
also with respect to points, there will be plenty of opportunities to grab a few extra points at Wimbledon.
to hell with the points anyway at this point. what good are they if he cant play effectively.
he has to take RG and the U.S. Open. that means getting off the hard courts right now and go fix that back.
he could not serve for 10 days after Rio. Rafa is playing with fire. he better go home and take care of that back and then slowly start training on clay for monte carlo.
